Email hi@plippo.app — usually answered within two working days. Telling me your device, the app version (Settings, at the bottom) and what you expected to happen gets you a real answer faster.
Moving to a new phone
Your data is on your old phone and nowhere else — that is the point of the app, and it means the move is a step you have to take deliberately:
- On the old phone: Settings → Export full backup, and save the file somewhere you will still have it.
- On the new phone: install Plippo Baby, then Settings → Restore from backup and pick that file.
- A phone-to-phone transfer or an iCloud/Google restore will not bring the data across. The app is deliberately excluded from those backups.
Automatic backups
In Settings you can have the app write a backup on a schedule into a folder you choose — a local folder, or a cloud folder if you decide you want one. It keeps the most recent copies and tells you how much space they take. Nothing is written anywhere until you pick that folder.
Restoring a Pro purchase
Pro is a one-time purchase tied to your Google or Apple account, not to a device. On a new phone, or after reinstalling, open Settings → Restore purchase. Use the same store account you bought it with, and make sure you have a connection at that moment. It costs nothing to restore.
Reminders are not arriving
- Check that notifications are allowed for Plippo Baby in your phone's system settings.
- Nap and feed reminders are a Pro feature, and they only fire when there is enough history to predict a window honestly.
- On Android, aggressive battery optimisation can delay them. Excluding the app from battery restrictions helps.
Deleting your data
Delete individual entries in the app, a whole child in Children, or everything by uninstalling. Uninstalling removes the only copy — export first if there is anything you want to keep. There is nothing to delete on our side, because we never had it.
Languages
The app follows your phone's language across fifteen locales. If a translation reads wrong to you as a native speaker, please write — that is exactly the report I most want to get.
Reporting a bug or asking for a feature
Email hi@plippo.app. There is no crash reporting in this app, so nothing tells me something broke unless you do. A screenshot and the steps that led there are usually enough.
